Gary Carson
Gary Carson is an Ohio native and has studied at the Art Academy, Wright State University and San Diego State University.
He has been a professional artist for over 20 years but only recently began painting watercolors. The City of Blue Ash commissioned him to do twelve watercolors for their 2004 city calendar and he has been painting ever since. His subjects are mainly local landscapes and river scenes, incorporating some of Milford's historic architecture and riverscapes.
His black granite work is showcased in the Blue Ash Towne Square and Veterans Memorial and was featured in Cincinnati Magazine. His bas-relief portrait sculptures are nationwide, ranging from the Country Music Hall of Fame, to the Hollywood Rockwalk. He has a large body of work in the San Francisco Bay area, including two dozen inductees into the San Jose Sports Arena.
Gary lives in Milford with his wife and two kids, along with their yappy Schnauzer.
