Jeffrey Heiser was born in 1965 in Frankfort, Kentucky, and grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  Jeffrey worked 10 years in the Kuhn Studio with master glass artist, Jon Kuhn, working in all aspects of glass sculptor from the conception, design, polishing, even assisting in naming the pieces. 

After ten years with Jon Kuhn, he felt compelled to begin creating his own category of art, expressing his own emotions in his sculptures.  He has taken years worth of his own ideas, his fine craftsmanship and put them into his glass and lead crystal pieces, making them uniquely his own.  Each piece is totally distinctive, no assembly line here, he cuts and grinds for many hours, each piece with only the living parts of the
glass being left.  His vision of each piece of glass as it goes together allows it to not only be unique in its own right but each time you look at the piece it will reflect the light differently showing you a kaleidoscope of reflective colors.

Jeffery’s current sculptures reflect his love for the sea.  His interpretation of seashells shows the individuality that nature has in her own world.
