Bobbi Thies

Art is a way of life for me.

An Artist takes the common things of daily life and shows them in a special way.

Creating Art whether it's 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional gives me joy. I hope you feel that joy when you view my Art. It makes me smile and I hope that translates to your heart. Artists have to make a heart connection to the viewers. The real artist is not the one who sees for themselves but must make others participate.

Art and horses! The career dilemma was how to do both!

My tagline is 'creating Art for your home and business'. My bio includes 22 years teaching Art to grades 3-9 and 23 years of experience as the founding Director of Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding & Horsemanship. I'm a member of The Women's Art Club of Cincinnati and the Brush and Palette Painters. I teach watercolor painting at the The Women's Art Club in Mariemont, in the spring of each year for a six week period. After that I'm out painting!

In 2017, I published two non-fiction, primary children's books through IngramSpark Publishing. "Moo The Cowtrastrophe" and "The Chase". Both are available at amazon.com or purchased through me.

I'm an artist enjoying painting in both watercolor, acrylics, creating rya weavings and turning found objects into 3D art forms.
